What fabric does enlightened equipment use?
Enlightened Equipment uses Grey Duck Down (GDD) for our 850fp down, and Grey Goose Down (GGD) for our 950fp down. Other than the weight, there is no performance difference between types. You can check out more information about our down here.
What is the difference between 850 and 950 down?

20D Nylon. There is not a huge difference between 15D and 20D nylon. Although it comes down to 0.5 grams per 1000 meters of thread used to make the fabric, that is roughly 5 grams heavier per square meter – so using 15D or 20D does not mean a lot for the final product!
What is the difference between 20D and 210T?
For most manufacturers, 20D Nylon is rated to 4000mm whereas 210T polyester can resist 3000mm water pressure despite it being quite a lot thicker! Unlike polyester, a nylon tent may sack after rain due to the expansion of the wet nylon fibers. A marked downside of nylon is that it expands when it gets wet!

I purchased 2 Revelation 10 degree quilts, Just used them for the first in the Superstition Mountains , Arizona, on a over night backpacking trip , 35 degree low, stayed so warm, it was like being inside of an electric blanket, the heat was literally radiating from the quilt. I’m 100% satisfied with my purchase.
