Quite boring when you have been to Orakei Korako and/or Waimangu Volcanic Valley which both feel much more like natural surroundings. The worst part of Wai-O-Tapu though is the Lady Knox Geysir where hundreds of people gather to see the geysir (after being triggered with organic soap) shoot up 20 metres into the air for up to an hour.
