What is wool interlock?
Wool interlock- this is a (machine) knit wool, knit in the round so it comes tubular. It’s double knit, which means there is no wrong and right side. Both sides of the fabric show the knit side of the stitches and are smooth. Wool blend interlock both before and after felting- it is fuzzier after felting.

How do you Lanolize wool clothes?
Add some wool detergent, and lightly press and then rinse. Do not soak, rub, or wring out your wool. Following each wash, lanolize the wool in a tub containing lanolin (some people skip this step if using a wool wash that contains lanolin, but you can decide this based on how well your wool is repelling water).

Microfiber is the most common material used in inserts and the most economical. Microfiber inserts absorb liquid quickly and dry quickly. However, they tend to flatten over time which reduces their absorbency, and they’re prone to compression leaks. Microfiber is also notorious for holding smells after a while.
Is wool difficult to sew?
There’s no need to fear wool. In fact, it’s one of the most satisfying fiber types to work with. If you choose the right fabric, you’ll be able to have success. When you’re starting out, keep in mind that not all wool fabrics are the same and not all are suitable for beginners to sew.
Should you wash wool before sewing?
Wool: I nearly always hand- or machine-wash wool on the gentle setting, using cool water so the fibers don’t felt. Wool should always be line dried, then pressed with lots of steam to shrink up the fabric a bit before cutting.
