Can you put melted wax in silicone molds?
Melt wax in a ‘hot pot’ until it is liquid, then carefully pour the hot wax into the silicone mold and allow to cool slightly. After approximately 1 hour, pour the excess wax out, leaving a hollow wax coating or ‘skin’ casting on the inside mold cavity.

If you’re using a silicone mould, your wax could be sticking, try using a plastic clamshell or deli pot! Also make sure that your moulds are super clean and dry before pouring your wax.

How do you remove a candle from a silicone Mould?
Candles should completely cool before removing from the mould. Overnight is best. If the wax sticks to the mould in any way it can be placed in the fridge to help it shrink from the sides of the mould OR dipped briefly into hot water to help it release.
How do you keep wax from sticking to silicone molds?
You may need to use a wick sealant or white tac, which should keep any of the wax from seeping out. I have found that the sealant doesn’t stick all that well to the silicon, but do the best you can. Find a suitable container to suspend the mold in. I usually find a glass or a couple of books good for this.
