Can you drink alcohol at nurragingy?
The consumption of large volumes of alcohol, such as kegs and cartons is not permitted in Council’s parks. Glass drinking receptacles are not permitted in any of Council’s open space areas. No on-license functions will be approved in Nurragingy Reserve.

Fagan Park covers an area of approximately 55 hectares and is located on Arcadia Road, Galston. The site was donated by the Fagan family to the Crown, with Hornsby Shire Council appointed as sole trustee for the park.

In June 1977, Bruce Fagan approached the Shire President and Shire Clerk of Hornsby Shire Council to discuss the future use of the property as a recreational and cultural centre to perpetuate the Fagan family name. Please note, no alcohol is to be consumed or taken into the park without Council’s written consent.
