Why does my PTO grind when I engage it?

Grinding. The common cause of grinding noise can be traced to operator abuse when engaging the PTO. To properly engage for a mechanically shifted PTO, the operator should depress the clutch and then wait for the transmission gears to come to a stop before engaging the PTO.

Can you adjust PTO speed?

Press the increase button (A) or decrease button (C) to adjust PTO speed. Once PTO speed has been set, software will calculate what engine speed is required to achieve that PTO speed, given current selected PTO gear. Rear PTO frame (D) and front PTO frame (E) are for viewing the speed of that PTO.
