Descending. The descent is where I was surprised with the new Stumpjumper. A sub-30lb 130mm travel 29er is obviously going to climb well, at least compared to a lot of bigger bikes out there. However, I certainly didn’t expect the new Stumpy to descend anywhere near as well as it does.
