Are 714 AP2 still good?
The Titleist AP2 712 irons were really good and I still played them regularly until the Titleist AP2 714 irons came, these are now my gamer set. The 714s have just a couple minor tweaks that have made them even better. Titleist did it again and set the bar even higher for 2014 irons. They are Absolutely Perfect Twice.

For those of you familiar with the AP2 712 irons you will probably not notice many changes to the 714 series Titleist AP2 irons apart from the new shiny look with the Titleist logo mirrored in the back of the cavity.
Are the Titleist AP2 710’s any good?
Well I was hitting my buddies AP2 710’s and really liked them (none of the two stores here have a LM or carry AP2’s to compare to my irons). I’ve been reading the Titleist site and obviously every new model says it’s an improvement over the previous.
What is the difference between the 714 and 714 AP2?
The 714 AP2 features more meaningful changes under the skin, but not so major that they change the characteristics of the AP2 chassis that has been so successful. Each iron has been designed to match the loft so the long irons have thinner faces than the short irons with the upper cavity face being only 2.1mm thick.
Are the 714’s better than the 710’s and 712’S?
I hated the 710 and 712 but am in love with the 714’s. I thought the launch on the 710 and 712 short irons were way higher than the 714’s. The 714’s also have more of a pre worn leading edge which makes the turf interaction much more playable and forgiving for me.
