Are inceptor rounds good?
Over all I can say the Inceptor brand of ammunition is a very good quality ammunition. I can say the projectile design does cause a larger wound channel without the need of a hollow-point. With the Inceptor there is less likely a chance for a ricochet.
Are ARX bullets frangible?
Our ARX and RNP™are frangible on hardened steel and fragmenting against dense bone (akin to a jacket being ripped off of a hollow-point that encounters a femur) and certain intermediate barriers.

What is 9mm ARX?
The 9mm ARX Inceptor round is a polymer round that is not a hollow point and is not designed to fragment. It is designed to disrupt the tissue around the bullet due to the grooves that are cut into the polymer that are in the mold the polymer is formed in.
What is a fluted bullet?
The fluted sides – typically four flutes – spinning through the air create four pockets of pressure working like fins that help keep the round flying straight and true. Both hollow points and fluted rounds score high in the accuracy category.
What does green tip on a bullet mean?
The United States Military adopted the SS109 to replace their M193 5.56 ammo in the early 1980s. It was renamed the M855 and the tips were painted green. This was done to help troops tell the difference between the new cartridge and the old M193 rounds.

What is a polycase inceptor Arx bullet?
One such design is the Polycase Inceptor ARX. Inceptor’s non-expanding ARX bullet is injection molded from a specially blended copper/polymer matrix. It is not a hollow-point bullet and thus should be legal in those few jurisdictions (such as New Jersey) that ban hollow-point ammunition for use by civilians and off-duty cops outside the home.
What is inceptor Arx?
From the research and development laboratory of Inceptor Ammunition, the Inceptor ARX is the next generation of defense ammunition. Through advanced design and materials science, the ARX uses fluid dynamics and non-expanding surface area instead of expansion to achieve terminal performance. Patent No.: US 9,841,260 B2
How does an arx bullet work?
The ARX penetrates straight until it encounters soft tissue. Upon entering soft tissue, the specially designed grooves in the nose harness the soft tissue and constrict, pressurize and eject it at 1.5 to 2 times the directional speed of the bullet.
What makes inceptor bullets so effective?
Inceptor projectiles are engineered to perform. Every feature of these bullets is specially designed and tested for pinpoint accuracy. Hydraulic displacement produces devastating wound channels rivaling and exceeding traditional expanding bullets.
