Can I put my plants back into veg?

A grower can manipulate a plant and force it to revert from the flowering stage back to the vegetative stage again. This process is known as re-vegging, or regeneration, and it allows you to harvest buds from a plant, then grow the same plant again for a second harvest of buds.

How many times can you re veg a plant?

You can re-veg as long as you want/need to. Most people tend to allow 4-6 weeks or so. But once you are ready, just set your lights to 12/12 and you can start another bloom cycle. Keep monitoring your plant and feed/water according to your plant requirements in the normal way.

How do you vegetate plants?

Give Your Plants More Light – If you’re growing indoors, then as long as you give your plants more than 14 hours of light each day, they’ll stay in the vegetative stage. But you can actually give them 24 hours of light each day and it’s like “forcing” more growth.

What to do with buds when’re Vegging?

Pinch off any buds on your remaining vegetative growth, so there’s only leaves and stems. If you skip this step your plant will still reveg, but you’re going to lose the buds anyway so why not harvest them? Plus it’s possible the plant may reveg faster if you remove the buds first.

What does Reveg look like?

Re-vegging happens when flowering plants get light during their 12-hour dark period. A few interrupted nights or even a small light leak can start a re-veg! Re-vegging cannabis plants show odd leaf symptoms such as: smooth leaf edges.

What do I do with my plant hermies?

If you do keep her to harvest and she does produce seeds, I highly recommend against trying to grow these hermie seeds, as it’s very likely they’ll have the same problems as their mother. The safest option is the pull the plant completely. This will ensure that no pollen sacs do any accidental pollenation.

What does re Vegging look like?

Some revegging symptoms include wrinkling, curling, or twisted leaves. These symptoms may be confused for watering, heat problems, or even broad mites, when they’re actually a sign the plant is going through major internal changes.

How do you tell if my plant is Revegging?

Do hermies produce buds?

Answer: Yes, this plant is a hermie / hermaphrodite. One of the biggest worries with a hermie (plant with both female and male parts) is that the pollen sacs will burst and pollenate your flowers. This will “seed” your buds.

How can you tell if a plant is Hermie?

With a “true” hermaphrodite plant, the male and female parts will grow on different parts of the plant. They won’t grow together in the same spot such as when nanners appear in the middle of buds.

What causes Reveg?

Is one week flush enough?

Soil growers should flush the longest, at 1–2 weeks. Coco coir growers should flush for a shorter time, around one week or less (watch to make sure your plant doesn’t turn too yellow too fast, because coco does not hold on to as much extra nutrients).
