Can you overdose on Salonpas patches?
Symptoms of overdose may include: severe drowsiness, seizures, slowed breathing, slow/fast/irregular heartbeat. Keep all regular medical and lab appointments. If you are using this product on a regular schedule and miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember.
What are the side effects of Salonpas?
Warmth, stinging, or burning on the application site may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, contact your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Coughing, sneezing, watery eyes, or throat irritation may occur if you breathe in the dried residue from the medication.
How many Salonpas can I use at once?
Use this medication as directed by your doctor or follow all directions on the product package. If you have any questions, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Only use 1 patch at time and do not use more than 2 patches in a 24-hour period.
Can I sleep with Salonpas on?
Salonpas® Pain Relief Patch can be applied for up to 12 hours and is suitable for both day – and night-time use.
Can Salonpas raise blood pressure?
Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects. This medication may raise your blood pressure. Check your blood pressure regularly and tell your doctor if the results are high.
Can I put 2 Salonpas at the same time?
No, Salonpas® patches are designed for one-time use. They cannot be used more than once.
Who should not use Salonpas?
Salonpas is not recommended for anyone who:
- Recently has had or is going to have heart surgery.
- Has a history of stomach bleeding.
- Has high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, or takes a diuretic (water pill)
- Is pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Is under 18.
Can I take ibuprofen with Salonpas?
