Officials at Wisp announced Friday that the resort has been acquired by a new owner. The Wisp Resort in McHenry said Friday that the Salt Lake City-based Pacific Group will run the business for new owner EPT Ski Properties. The local management team, headed by General Manager Tim Prather, will remain in place.

Is snowshoe or Seven Springs better?
The main difference is the length of runs(snowshoe is much longer), and wide openess(which seven springs has). They are both well run facilities and a joy to ski. Ditto on what everyone is saying. The shoe has more of a “big” mountain feel especially with cupp and shays.
Is liberty or Roundtop better?
Roundtop basically has no “extreme” terrain, they might have one run that is just a sheet of ice at the top to challenge you. Liberty has a few more advancedish runs, but again nothing too gnarly, I’d mainly just ski around looking for little side hits there.
