Which Fujifilm X100 series is best?

The X100S is the better used buy. For about $50 extra, you get a faster camera with a better EVF and a higher resolution sensor (16MP vs 12MP). The X100T was the smallest update of the bunch, improving the LCD and EVF, adding some ports, and including a bunch of new film simulations.

Is X100F good for beginners?

If one was to recommend an interchangeable lens body as a beginner’s camera, I’d strongly suggest going with a decent prime, of what is considered a ‘normal’ focal length like 35, or 50 (In 35mm terms) at first. Having said that, would i recommend an X100F as a good first camera? No.

How good are Fujifilm simulations?

Characteristics: True colors with no intended color casts. There is some contrast but it isn’t noticeably strong. It does a good job of not intentionally clipping shadows or highlights, without making them too soft. Common Uses: This Fuji film simulation can really be used for anything.
