To obtain a permit from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, one must:

  1. hold a Québec diploma in engineering recognized by the Québec government.
  2. hold a diploma or have training that has been deemed equivalent by the Order.
  3. Step 1 – Completed permit application.
  4. Step 2 – File evaluated by the Committee.
