How do I use my Avital remote starter?
When the engine is ON, press and hold the remote control button for three seconds. The engine stops running and the parking lights turn off. When the engine is OFF, press and hold the remote control button for three seconds. The parking lights flash slowly several times allowing you to locate your vehicle.
How do I reset my anti theft system?
Step 3: Do a secondary check on the anti-theft light. If it is no longer blinking, turn the key to the “off” position and let your car sit for a couple of minutes. This allows the system to fully reset itself, or your car won’t start.
Do you need to reprogram a key fob after changing the battery?
If replacing the batteries has reset this connection, or if it was somehow interrupted, you’ll have to reprogram the fob so that it once again recognizes your car.
