Once a day, every day. Toujeo is a long-acting insulin that should be taken once daily at the same time each day. It releases gradually with no pronounced peak or wear-off between doses.

So your dose of Toujeo would be between 5 units and 15 units of medication per day. It can take up to 5 days to see the effects of Toujeo after you start treatment. It’s important to monitor your blood sugar, as directed by your doctor, and take your dose every day.
