In 2015, Sphero struck a licensing deal with Disney to create a BB-8 robot based on the Star Wars: The Force Awakens film. Following the success of that robot, Sphero also created a model of R2-D2 and Lightning McQueen. The Disney products were discontinued in 2018 after their partnership ended.

How do you wake up Ollie?
To wake up an Ollie from deep-sleep, plug the micro USB into the port on the back of Ollie and remove the cord. The Ollie should light up with a soft purple light to indicate that the Ollie has been taken out of deep sleep.
How do you know when Ollie is charged?
When charging, the USB port will light up red, and when Ollie is fully charged, the USB port will light up green to indicate a full battery. Full charge can take up to three hours. The battery should last approximately one hour with constant play.
