    Your “proof” indicates that with your iphone on 4.2.1 you are not able to use the Sounddock II. Since the other poster indicated that he could use his with 4.2.1 it would indicate this is not a systemic 4.2.1 bug, since if it was ALL iphone 4s with 4.2.1 would not work with the Bose.
