Anyone who suspects they’re allergic to latex should visit a doctor. The good news as far as your living room goes is that what we’ve been calling “latex” paint hasn’t had real latex in it for a long time. In fact, paint manufacturers are starting to refer to water-based paints as “acrylic” instead of “latex”!
