Whistler is fantastic in the summer, especially if you get good weather to go along with it. As other posters did say, it is certainly a busy place in the summer, especially on weekends and long weekends. But, the scenery is lovely, and there is lots to do for all ages.

Whistler will be busy but it’s big so it won’t feel crowded. We were there a few years ago in late July and there was a short wait for the gondola heading up to the Peak 2 Peak (maybe 10 minutes total) but once up top everyone had spread out and it was quite beautiful.
