What are THM meals?
Trim Healthy Mama (or THM for short) is a meal plan that provides you with healthy, nutritious food that your entire family can enjoy. The eating plan was developed by two sisters who wanted to eat healthier and feed their families better too.
What can I eat on THM?
Both diets consist of eating plans that emphasize vegetables, fruits, whole grains, lean proteins, and low-fat dairy products. Similarly, both diets limit saturated fats and refined sugars.
How do you eat out on THM?
You can ask for any of their subs to be made into a salad bowl for an S (when you include cheese and dressing)! For an E, you could also get a 6-inch sub on wheat for an almost E option. Ask them to scoop out the bread in the middle. Choose lean meats, veggies, and a light dressing or mustard, to keep it an E.
Is Trim Healthy Mama low carb?
Fats and healthy carbs are allowed on Trim Healthy Mama but they are kept separate. So one meal would be a low carb meal (Like a keto meal), also called an “S” meal in the THM world.
Can I lose weight on Trim Healthy Mama?
“The diet could possibly work for someone who loves structure and following rules, but I do not think they would be able to sustain any weight loss.” Worth noting: Gans says you definitely shouldn’t try THM if you have diabetes or a history of low blood sugar, since the diet encourages so many carb-heavy meals.
Can you eat popcorn on THM?
Popcorn is totally fine on THM in an “E” setting. Just don’t eat more than 4-5 cups, and don’t drizzle it with butter (unless you’re ok with a crossover, otherwise, keep the butter to under a teaspoon to stay in “E” mode).

Can you eat fruit on THM?
Fruit is most welcome while doing Trim Healthy Mama! You just need to make sure it’s in the right setting. Most fruit is totally acceptable in an E setting.
Are pork rinds THM approved?
Pork Rinds (S) – Pretty much any brand will work, just avoid flavored options like BBQ because they may have off plan ingredients.
