Are PowerStop brakes good for towing?

PowerStop’s Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pad formula is the gold standard in truck and tow brake systems. The ceramic formula is reinforced with carbon fibers to withstand intense heat. These pads also generate the additional brake torque you need when towing, adding weight, or adding large wheels/tires.

Are drilled and slotted rotors good for towing?

Drilled and slotted rotors do work particularly well for tow vehicles, trucks, and other cars that carry heavy loads. Heavier vehicles require more energy to come to a stop safely, and this type of brake rotor excels at delivering it. Drilled & slotted brake rotors are also are fine for general use in street vehicles.

Wear & Tear Residue: Compared to organic brake pads, ceramic brake pads tend to produce less dust and other particles as they wear down. Temperature & Driving Conditions: Compared to organic brake pads, ceramic brake pads can be more reliable in a broader range of temperatures and driving conditions.
