What is a Temposonic sensor?

MEASURING TECHNOLOGY Each Temposonics® position sensor consists of a ferromagnetic waveguide, a position magnet, a strain pulse converter and supporting electronics. The magnet, connected to the object in motion in the application, generates a magnetic field at its location on the waveguide.

What is the function of position sensor?

The position sensor is a device that collects information on the precise position and movement of an object. The information can be obtained by direct contact with the object or remotely using magnetic sensors. It can also detect the thickness of a part, the level of a fluid or the angle of rotation of a shaft.
