What is Belzona 1341?

Belzona 1341 (Supermetalglide) is a two component high performance coating system for improving the efficiency of fluid handling systems and protection of metals from the effects of erosion-corrosion.

How to apply Belzona 1341?

a) FIRST COAT Apply the Belzona® 1341 directly on to the prepared surface with a stiff bristled brush or with the plastic applicator provided at the recommended coverage rate. b) SECOND COAT As soon as possible after application of the first coat, apply a further coat of Belzona® 1341 as in (a) above.

The mechanical properties, heat resistance and chemical resistance of Belzona® 1111 will be improved by post curing. After 2 – 4 hours of applying Belzona® 1111, post cure the material using forced air heaters, heat lamps, etc. for a minimum of 4 hours at 140-212°F (60-100°C).
