How does the shed or barn rent program work?
The program is a simple month to month contract. Simply pick out the Shed or Barn that you want and pay us the first month’s rent and a security deposit and we will deliver. After delivery, if you make 35 consecutive monthly payments you own it! It is that simple. In addition, you can pay the building off at any time with no pre-payment penalty.
Is there a penalty for paying off my rent-to-own shed early?
There are no penalty fees for early payoffs on your rent-to-own shed or building. You can pay off your rent-to-own contract at any time. RTO National provides a discount on your contract balance based on the number of payments you have made.
How do I have my rent-to-own shed delivered?
To have your rent-to-own shed delivered you are required to pay the first month’s rent, sales tax, and any applicable delivery fees. (We provide 25 miles of free delivery with every building; delivery fees may include the costs for a pilot car if your building is categorized as an oversized load.)
Do I need a credit check to rent to own a shed?
Rent-to-own sheds do not require a prior credit check. Rent-to-own shed payment plans are based on terms of 24, 36, 48, or 60 months. Before delivery of your portable building, you’ll sign a rental agreement, pay one month’s rent, and pay any applicable sales tax or delivery fees (we offer the first 25 miles of delivery for free).
How much does it cost to buy a countryside shed?
The total purchase price of shed, cabin, or portable building must be less than $15,000. Certain Countryside Barns structures and products are not eligible for rent to own, it’s best to call us at 800-467-4614 to find out current restrictions.
