When does Ramadan 2016 start&end?

Ramadan for the year 2016 starts on Tuesday, June 7th lasting 30 days and ending at sundown on Tuesday, July 5th. Because the Islamic calendar is a lunar calendar with days starting at sunset, the holiday begins at sunset of the previous day on Monday, June 6th. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.
