Angus Young has stated he prefers the SG over the Les Paul for the very simple reason that the Les Paul weighs too dang much. I’m not a large man myself, but I’m quite a lot larger than Angus, and I would also feel that standing and playing the Les Paul for a two hour show would leave me sore in the shoulder.
