Why is Nauset Lighthouse closed?
WELLFLEET — The parking lot at Nauset Light Beach is closed due to erosion, according to a Cape Cod National Seashore statement. Superintendent Brian Carlstrom said the Jan. 29 blizzard led to active erosion on the bluff below the parking lot. Those visiting the area are asked to keep out fenced off areas for safety.
