Will LSBU be online?
All our students are timetabled to be on campus for face-to-face teaching. This is our plan for all new students joining us too. You will be expected to attend campus for your timetabled activities, as anything that is scheduled for on-campus won’t be available remotely.
How do I access my LSBU email?
You can sign in to your LSBU email account through the student portal My LSBU.
- Go to the student portal www.my.lsbu.ac.uk 2. Click on Student Email in the top right-hand corner of the page.

What is my LSBU username?
When you are logged into My LSBU you can also access the password setup page if you click on Library and Academic, then select IT Support from the drop-down list. This is your username. This is your e-mail address.
How do I apply for LSBU?
You can apply for a full-time course starting in 2022 through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). You’ll need the LSBU institution code L75 and the unique UCAS code for each course. There is new information for those applying during the unfolding coronavirus situation.

How do I access LSBU in Moodle?
To log in to Moodle you need your LSBU username and password. This is the same username and password that you use to log in to an LSBU computer and access your LSBU email. If you do not know your LSBU username and password, you will need to activate your LSBU IT account. Go to page 16 for information.
Can you get into uni with a Level 2?
For the majority of students, it isn’t possible to get into university with only 2 A-Levels. The majority of universities require at least 3 qualifications or better explained as 112 UCAS tariff points.
How long does LSBU take to give offers?
Once you have applied you will normally receive a response within three working days. If you do not meet the allocation criteria or hold a conditional offer on an LSBU course, you may be required to wait until late August/September before we are able to process your application.

When will I receive my LSBU enrolment email?
The emails are generated to applicants with an accepted unconditional offer to study at LSBU; if you have an offer and have accepted it, you’ll receive an email from this email address – [email protected] – sometime in December or early January.
Why am I not receiving emails from LSBU?
Some email systems occasionally treat LSBU emails as spam, so it is worth checking your spam/junk folders on a regular basis, just in case. You can also add [email protected] to your safe senders list. The link for enrolment is sent out to all applicants who have an unconditional accepted offer in batches so, you may not have yours yet.
What kind of photo do I need to upload to LSBU?
Your student ID is your official University identification document and will remain with you throughout your time at LSBU. We need a simple, front-facing head shot with nothing in the background.
